Oldfield Old Boys Rugby Football Club was established in 1950 and fields 3 Senior teams each week, plus Vets and U19 sides. Our 1st XV play in Southern Counties South, Our 2nd XV in Somerset 2 North & 3rd XV in Somerset 3 North.
You can find us at Shaft Road, Combe Down, Bath and are welcome to join us for training, every Tuesday & Thursday (7pm to 9pm). We are a social and welcoming club, so if you are new to the area, or fancy playing rugby, at any level, then get in touch - we are always happy to welcome new players. Walcot put themselves within touching distance of the Southern Counties South title with a 34-5 victory over local rivals Oldfield at Shaft Road.It was the third time this season that the two sides had locked horns and the third time that Walcot had emerged clear winners.

Oldfield put visitors Devizes through the Southern Counties South mill at Shaft Road on Saturday, but still ended up on the wrong end of a narrow defeat. A Lee Sumsion drop goal had the home side just two points adrift with 20 minutes to go in a tight contest after his first-half penalty kept them in the hunt.

Oldfield captain Shane Smart was left beaming with delight after his side managed to overcome a powerful North Dorset side away from home in Southern Counties South.The skipper was delighted with the manner in which his side turned things around after withstanding a massive onslaught at the beginning of the match.

Oldfield stayed in touch with the Southern Counties South's promotion pace-setters on Saturday with a 10-6 win over Dorchester at Shaft Road.And they had No 8 Andy Ross, back in action after a three-month injury lay-off, to thank for their victory.
