 Oldfield Old Boys Rugby Football Club was established in 1950 and fields 3 Senior teams each week, plus Vets and U19 sides. Our 1st XV play in Southern Counties South, Our 2nd XV in Somerset 2 North & 3rd XV in Somerset 3 North.
You can find us at Shaft Road, Combe Down, Bath and are welcome to join us for training, every Tuesday & Thursday (7pm to 9pm). We are a social and welcoming club, so if you are new to the area, or fancy playing rugby, at any level, then get in touch - we are always happy to welcome new players. The afternoon started with a highly motivational speech in the dressing room from Skippy Si Layton (pictured below). Even stalwarts like Gary Paul, in his 50th season for Oldfield were brought to the edge of tears.

Six-try Oldfield moved to within touching distance of a Southern Counties South promotion berth after a thumping 41-3 win over Ivel Barbarians.The Shaft Road side lost their first three outings of the season, but Ben Staunton's men have not looked back since, winning each of their last six matches. |
