After the disappointment of last week’s lacklustre performance at Winscombe, Oldfield were determined to put in a stand up performance against a Walcot side who had won the previous few encounters.

On another scorching hot day Oldfield 2nds played their part in an exciting game against a Weston Hornets side that didn't feature Roger Parker.

Oldfield learnt a harsh lesson after turning around at half-time with the scores level at 3-3 before crashing to a 33-3 defeat to Oakmeadians in Southern Counties South.
