Oldfield Rejuvenated Oldfield rounded off a great month last weekend with a 31-0 whitewash of Shaft Road visitors Sherborne.Oldfield's fourth straight victory lifted them into the top half of the Southern Counties South table for the first time this season.
And it set them up for an away trip to third-placed North Dorset on Saturday, which could see them make up more valuable ground on promotion pace-setters Trowbridge and Frome.
Oldfield, who were always in command, turned a 17-0 half-time cushion into an easy win over Sherborne, scoring four tries.
Prop Shawn Jones grabbed Oldfield's first touch-down and the others came from Alex Woods, Joel Hawkins and Rich Gibson.
Youngster Freddy Burns and skipper and scrum-half Lee Sumsion kicked Oldfield's remaining points between them |
