Welcome to Oldfield Old Boys RFC

The Oldfield Flyer Oldfield Old Boys Rugby Football Club was established in 1950 and fields 3 Senior teams each week, plus Vets and U19 sides. Our 1st XV play in Southern Counties South, Our 2nd XV in Somerset 2 North & 3rd XV in Somerset 3 North.

You can find us at Shaft Road, Combe Down, Bath and are welcome to join us for training, every Tuesday & Thursday (7pm to 9pm). We are a social and welcoming club, so if you are new to the area, or fancy playing rugby, at any level, then get in touch - we are always happy to welcome new players.

Destination:  Cologne, Germany.

As this years Tour Manager I am pleased to announce that we shall be departing for Cologne in Germany on Friday 4 April 2008 and returning on Monday 7 April 2008.

The total cost for the tour is £225 with a Non-Refundable Deposit of £75 required ASAP.

COLOGNE is situated on the river Rhein in North Rhine-Westphalia and is the fourth largest city in Germany. Cologne's very name bears witness to its Roman past as the town of Colonia. The city has an extremely lively arts and culture scene and it is known as the "capital of Rhenish joie de vivre".

More interestingly, Cologne is one of Germany’s leading gastronomic delights, from venerable breweries offering unique Kölsch beer and typical Cologne delicacies to first-class restaurants - boasting well in excess of 3000 public houses, restaurants and breweries.

If you are interested in participating in what should be a superb tour, then please pass on your deposit to either Donna Burns, Jase Humphries, Lloyd Madden or Chris Quintin. Places will be secured on a first come first serve basis!!!

Any further queries then please do not hesitate to speak me.
