Destination: Cologne, Germany.
As this years Tour Manager I am pleased to announce that we shall be departing for Cologne in Germany on Friday 4 April 2008 and returning on Monday 7 April 2008. The total cost for the tour is £225 with a Non-Refundable Deposit of £75 required ASAP. COLOGNE is situated on the river Rhein in North Rhine-Westphalia and is the fourth largest city in Germany. Cologne's very name bears witness to its Roman past as the town of Colonia. The city has an extremely lively arts and culture scene and it is known as the "capital of Rhenish joie de vivre".
More interestingly, Cologne is one of Germany’s leading gastronomic delights, from venerable breweries offering unique Kölsch beer and typical Cologne delicacies to first-class restaurants - boasting well in excess of 3000 public houses, restaurants and breweries.
If you are interested in participating in what should be a superb tour, then please pass on your deposit to either Donna Burns, Jase Humphries, Lloyd Madden or Chris Quintin. Places will be secured on a first come first serve basis!!! Any further queries then please do not hesitate to speak me. Chris Quintin - Oldfield Tour Manager 2008. |
