Oldfield Skipper and scrum- half Lee Sumsion and ex-player coach and outside centre Andy Boyce could both miss Oldfield's home Southern Counties South date with struggling Devizes.
Sumsion, who has a thigh strain, said: "We may take the opportunity to blood a couple of youngsters against Devizes. "We have to look to the future and developing cover for every position, so we may go down that route to give Andy Boyce and I an extra week to recover." Oldfield should be comfortable winners against a Devizes side who killed off the Shaft Road club's promotion bid in 2006. Meanwhile, Oldfield have been handed a walkover win over Southern Counties South promotion rivals Frome in the Bath Combination Coors Cup. |
